Discovery phase
Not being previously familiar with the Web3 universe, having a discovery phase was key to understanding our client’s needs. We took a few weeks to immerse ourselves in the crypto universe and start learning about all the concepts that it contains.
We read and summarized documentation from the client to get a wider picture of the company and its goals.
We interviewed several stakeholders and experts, and we had recurrent meetings to ask questions and learn more.
We sketched diagrams and user flows to start having an idea about the user’s participation in this ecosystem.
We worked together with the product owners in several Figjam sessions in order to understand how the ecosystem works.
Platform design
After defining the initial architecture and mapping key features, we moved into wireframing, focusing on essential screens. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with VeChain’s team, ensuring alignment and adapting to new insights as they arose.
Branding and UI
We collaborated closely with a brand designer to develop VeBetterDAO’s visual identity. After establishing the base brand, we built the visual and animation assets. Once the wireframes were validated, we moved on to crafting the final screen designs.
Website & 3D animations
We designed and implemented the website for VeBetterDAO in just 3 weeks, complete with custom 3D assets and animations. Built in Framer, the site was crucial for introducing DAO features and educating users who may not be familiar with crypto and Web3 technologies.
Working onsite
VeChain invited our team to work on them during a full week in Dublin, Ireland, previous to the release of the full version of the product. We were able to conduct different exercises with the whole team and gather very useful insights.
We were later also invited to VeChain's annual event, The Hive, during the which VeBetterDAO would be released in mainnet. It took place in San Francisco.
